Why do you ask am I “new to the neighborhood”?

I want to take this opportunity to explain why I have chosen to call my blog “new to the neighborhood”. I chose this name because, well, frankly… I am new to the neighborhood. I am new to everything going on in my life at this time. I am new to the blog world, I am new to the state of Texas. I am new to being a college graduate and I am new to life after being known as a student. I am new to this world that does not involve studying and looking forward to the future, but actually living the future. I am new to the neighborhood in every possible way you can imagine and I am using my awkwardness to drive me to be more creative and to achieve goals. One of those goals is to own my individuality and what better way to do that than to start a blog full of my own individual thoughts, ideas, and creativity! So, since this is my blog, that would also make you new to the neighborhood. Welcome to my neighborhood!
